Artsy Tuesday - Raw Art Letterpress

I liked doing Artsy Tuesday for the first time last week so I decided to continue doing them. Most featured artists will be from Etsy since it is my favorite site to find art! It can only benefit the artist in the end by featuring them and their art, right? Well here it goes...

I introduce to you Colette Urquhart from Raw Art Letterpress on Etsy. She is from Mt. Shasta, California and makes original prints, specializing in typography and quotes. She cuts all of her plates and individual letters from recycled materials (go green!). Her sister Sue makes her Raw Art prints into silver charms. Sue's charms can be found at her shop, Lulu Bug Jewelry on Etsy.

Colette's art is so colorful and inspirational. I recently bought my mother a mother's day postcard from her shop and she absolutely loved it. Instead of giving her just the card, I framed it in a little turquoise frame and it turned out beautiful. In the near future I hope to collect more of her art!
