In Love with Owls and Birdies

I have recently been obsessed with anything that involves owls and birds. I don't know what it is about my fascination recently. I feel like they are on everything lately when it comes to art and home decor. When I was on my trip in Seattle they were everywhere I turned. I just love what beautiful creatures owls and birds are. Owls and birds aren't just for nurseries anymore. More and more they are seen in unexpected places. I watch the show 'Better With You' on ABC and I love how in Mia and Casey's firehouse turned house, every corner there is an art or decor piece with an owl or bird on it. So cute. I have definitely started to collect some wonderful and cute pieces. I wanted to share them with you, along with some other items I really want.

Things I already have:

I bought the smaller owl. You can purchase it from West Elm for $9.00.
It is currently on my living room mantle, but hopefully I'll find a better place for it soon.

I bought this on Flapper Doodle on Etsy by artist Kate Gabrielle. I love her art and when I saw this I had to have it. I am currently in the process of trying to find a home for this beauty.

I painted this small table one night on a whim and it actually turned out pretty cute. I've toyed with the idea of selling these, but it would be too big to ship at a reasonable price so maybe I'll start painting this on canvas...just a thought. This is currently in my office/guest bedroom.

I love this little ceramic bird I bought from Pier One a couple years back. It's really cute and can go in any space. This as you can see is on my kitchen table.

These are salt and pepper shakers I picked up at a store called Fireworks in Seattle. They were so cute I just had to have them. They are on my kitchen counter looking as cute as can be. (Sorry for the bad picture)

This cute bird cage I purchased at a local store called The French Address. I thought the little bird on top was cute and I originally had purchased it to hang old pictures of my grandparents, but then I thought it would be cute in my room with jewelry hanging from it also. It also has a cute little vintage owl pin I got from my grandmother when I was in Seattle. I love this. (Sorry for the bad picture)
