Artsy Tuesday - Courtney Oquist

I introduce to you Courtney from Courtney Oquist on Etsy. She is an art teacher from Long Beach, CA. Courtney explains that she 'likes to make objects and images that explore the fanciful, miraculous, fantastical and eccentric part of everydayness.' She also plays the guitar and piano, sews, and has a cat named Lily {One of my cats is named Lily too! Great name!}.  

I love Courtney's work. I initially found her on Etsy through her owl art. I was instantly drawn to her work once I visited her shop. I love the colors she uses and how talented she is. One of her pieces has even been featured on the hit show, Modern Family {which I love}. Courtney definitely has a variety of themes going on and it shows how really talented she is. Aren't they beautiful? I think my absolute favorite is either the Colorful Owl Print or the Rain is Magical Print. So fun and amazing! Courtney also has a great website/blog and a fun food blog called Artist's Cookbook.
