Chalkboard Paint

So I have been really digging the chalkboard trend thats been all over the blogosphere and Pinterest lately. I have a pair of small doors that open up to a small pantry in my small galley kitchen {notice the emphasis on small, condo living at its best} and I have been toying with the idea of painting the outside in black chalkboard paint. The small pantry doors really need something {they are really blah}. I also think it would be a great addition to the kitchen, as well as a great way to write grocery lists or reminders. So what do you think? Does it look too messy or do you think it would look great? Of course, I'll share once I decide what I'm going to do, and if I do it show the before and after. Any thoughts?
