How was everyone's weekend? Do anything spectacular or getting any home projects done? Well I can clearly say that my weekend was not long enough. I feel like by the time I'm done running a few errands, getting my weekly grocery shopping in and relaxing a bit there is no time left over for the small projects I want to do {hence the title 'Not Quite There'}. I am still working on painting my pantry doors in chalkboard paint along with a few other things I've started and haven't finished. There really aren't enough hours in the day to get everything accomplished. I think this next weekend I will just stay home and get all of the small things checked off the list so I can eventually start on the big ones. I will not leave {except for work on Sunday morning of course} until its all done! Hopefully I'll have an actual finished project or two to share with you all sometime next week! In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at one of my pantry doors. {Please ignore the mess around it. My place has been a mess lately and its awful!}

Happy Birthday Dad!
Today is my dad's 55th birthday so we'll be celebrating tonight with dinner and a yummy strawberry shortcake cake from a great local french bakery! It is my first time ordering this cake so I hope it turns out good. I've tried slices before and it was amazing! I'll take a picture of it and share with you all sometime this week! I also did a little special project for his birthday and I'll share that sometime this week as well!
