Well I had planned to throw a fun little party for my moms birthday/mother's day {it's on the same day} this year until she decided to be out of the country on it. Paris to be exact! I know, the nerve! Well instead of the little party, I was able to make one of her favorite things she loves most when she goes home to Canada, Canadian Butter Tarts. They turned out so yummy! One of my brothers, me and the boyfriend gave her money to go to Paris and we had these little tasty treats to semi-celebrate the occasion early.
