I introduce to you Ana from Anek on Etsy. Ana is a graphic designer and illustrator, working and living in Croatia. After finishing graphic design school, she worked many years in the field itself. However, a few years ago she returned completely to drawing which she says has always been her first love. Since then Ana has been working on various food related illustration projects. When not in her studio creating her wonderful art, she can be found spending time with her 2 little boys. Anek, she says, 'is all about simple pleasures of food and cooking & beauty and joy of everyday moments.' Ana's work has been featured in Apartment Therapy and Oh Joy, as well as many other places.
I really love Ana's art and think it is perfect for any kitchen. I love the colors she uses in her pieces and defintely her theme which is mostly food and kitchen art. To me, I love to cook so I can appreciate it a lot {not to say you can't appreciated it if you don't love to cook}! Ana is one talented lady and it is clearly shown in her work. Aren't they great? I love the Olive Oil and Basil prints because I just do and they would go so well with my newly chalkboard painted pantry doors.
