I introduce to you Deidre from Water In My Paint on Etsy. She is a watercolor artist working out of her studio in Toronto, Canada. She says, 'I was first introduced to illustration while studying Fashion Design at University, before that I never really drew at all! Despite being able to use any type of material and medium for my fashion illustrations it was watercolour that drew me again and again. It still draws me.' The fashion industry for her wasn't working out so as an escape she returned to illustration which soon after became her living. Her themes include mostly animals and food and her work has been featured on many blogs, as well as the front page of Etsy!
I really adore Deidre's work. For someone who really didn't start drawing until college it surely doesn't show. She is really talented and her work is beautiful. I also love the quirkiness in her pieces and how fun they are. They would look good in any place in your home and definitely give it some great character.
