Bits of My Weekend

The weekend was definitely not long enough, which it never is, but I definitely got some much needed things done. It has been raining everyday since last Friday here so I finally finished painting my pantry doors in chalkboard paint and they are now up and useable {pictures to come later}, I reorganized my kitchen cabinets and pantry, I put down my new Ballard Designs chevron rug {I talked about it here and did order it in black, pictures to come, and ps. I love the rug!}, I did some paint touch ups in my living room and added some more pieces to my, what seems like gigantic, wall gallery, I put up a new mirror I got in my entryway which is a Martha Stewart sunburst mirror I picked up at Home Depot for a whopping $35 over Memorial weekend {if your interested you can find it here and pictures to come}, and I even managed to go grocery shopping, see the new movie Prometheus and eat dinner with my parents. Speaking of Prometheus, it was amazing! If you are a sci fi geek like me and love the Alien movies then you need to go see it. I won't talk about it because it just came out and I don't want to spoil it for anyone planning to see it, but all I can say is its awesome! I was telling a co-worker about it and he said I got so excited when talking about it which I found funny!
