I really like how my kitchen table turned out this year (even though looking at these pictures made me realize I need to get on it and buy some curtains, it looks so blah in the background). On Saturday we popped into Hobby Lobby so I could pick up some moss for around the large pumpkin and headstone candle. While there I came across those fall branches and I thought they were beautiful and that I could definitely use them so I bought a few at 40% off. They turned out so well that I'm thinking of going to get a couple more to put in a glass vase on my mantel too. I just hope greedy little furbaby paws stay off of them if you know what I mean. While I was snapping pics we also had a little photo bomb moment I thought was so cute because its usually always Bella or Lily photo bombing, but this time it was Bug. Such a sweet boy. He had just gotten a bath an hour or so before this picture.
I also happened to make my Nanny's (my Canadian Grandmother) Maple Syrup Ribs and they were so delicious (well they always are but I'm impartial of course) that I will be sharing the recipe with you all next Monday so check back! It's such a great fall/winter recipe. My mom always made them when I was growing up and two years ago she put together a nice cookbook for each of us filled with recipes she made when we were kids or sentimental recipes that we all loved from other family members. The book turned out so nicely and she left a lot of space for us to add our own or for her to add more of hers. I absolutely adore gifts like that. It definitely pulls on my heart strings. xoxo, Kayleigh
