Jahna Vashti on Etsy. She is an artist living and working in Portland, Oregon. Jahna says, "I'm just like a little kid with a box of crayons. I see beauty in most things, and am usually running home to paint about it. Sometimes I skin my knee on the way there, and I paint about that too." The themes in her work, to me include fun and whimsical animals and scenery, as well as touches of Native American/African/ Asian influences and portraits.
I absolutely adore Jahna's work. I first discovered her work on Pinterest when I came across her Forest Festivities piece and fell in love. Her work is so whimsical and beautiful and I love the colors. Jahna is one talented woman and I knew it the instant I came upon her shop. She also has cards along with her prints and paintings. I would love to receive one of her cards in the mail from someone. It would be one special treat! So take a look at my favorites from her shop.
Aren't they beautiful? Of course my all time favorite is the Forest Festivities Print, but I love all of them just the same. I really am so glad I came across her work and glad I got to share it with you all!! So go take a look at her shop, tell her hi then come back and let me know which ones your favorite! I'm curious to know! xoxo, Kayleigh.
